A goal is something you want to achieve. Athletes set themselves goals all the time.This is how they learn, improve and are successful in their sports. When an athlete meets and achieves a goal they get immense satisfaction, they gain in confidence and self-belief and they are motivated to set themselves bigger and more ambitious goals for the future.

The ultimate goal for an athlete is to be the best they can be. This takes dedicated and committed training.By setting small journey goals along the way an athlete can stay motivated to reach their very best.

Our champions set themselves performance goals for their sports, but they also use goal setting in other areas of their lives, for example, to pass exams or to prepare for job interviews.

With your champion you will learn some goal setting skills that you can put into practice in your life: at school, at home, in a hobby or in a sport or activity.
