Get Involved
We are working hard to grow Champions in Schools across Scotland - and aim to be delivering workshops in every Scottish local authority by 2014.
We would love to hear from you, so please read on to find out the next steps...
What to do...if you are a pupil at a school and would like a champion to visit:
If you are at Primary School, ask your class teacher or Active Schools Coordinator to visit this page.
If you are at Secondary School, speak to your PE or Guidance teacher or Active Schools Coordinator and ask them to visit this page.
What to do... if you represent a school and would like to get involved with us:
Your first port of call should be with your local council's education and / or sport and physical activity department, and you should ask them to contact us on your behalf. We have very limited resources and therefore do not have the capacity to organise visits with individual schools.
Instead, we make an agreement with a local authority to bring Champions in Schools to an agreed number of schools in the council area.
What to do... if you represent a local authority and would like to get involved with us:
We are eager to bring Champions in Schools to your local authority, if we are not there already!
If you would like to organise a meeting to discuss the possibility of Champions in Schools coming to your council area, please call or email Richard Orr, Programme Manager on the details below.
