Top sportspeople are often called ‘high performance athletes’.
So to be your own champion means becoming a ‘high performance person’. To be your very best you need to live a winning lifestyle all day, every day.
How do you become a high performance person?
· Set and achieve goals so that you are always challenged. Always seek to be a little bit better today than you were yesterday. Remember that improvements are mostly little steps not giant leaps.
· Keep a healthy, balanced lifestyle. Know that the key for getting the best from your body is to eat well, drink the right fluids and to stay fit and active.
· Continually work on having a positive attitude. Believe in yourself! Those who reach the top start out just like you – normal ordinary human beings who worked hard and followed their dream.
· Turn negatives into positives. Learn from things that go wrong. Remember that making a mistake is a good thing if you learn how to overcome it the next time.
