First international / ‘big time’ call-up: My first cap for Scotland was at the Uber-Cup in February 2000.
How do you feel when you know you are representing your team / country? I feel really proud to represent Scotland, and nervous and excited that I can win important matches for my country.
How and why did you get involved in your sport? I started playing badminton in P5 at my school club.
What is your favourite moment in the history of sport? Goran Ivanisevic winning Wimbledon in 2001.
Who has been the biggest influence on your sporting career? Dan Travers, my national coach since I have been in the senior Scotland team.
Any family connections to sport? No
Who has been your toughest opponent and why? Zhang Ning – double Olympic champions and the best women’s player ever. She has no weaknesses.
