Biggest passion away from your sport? Creating new from old renovation of property / furniture. Using a creative side to visualise and bring about new life to something old, tried, but well made. Love finding a bargain.
Favourite sport other than your own? Admire gymnastics / dance. So different from what I do. So graceful and awe inspiring to watch.
Three words that describe you: Independant, trustworthy and slow.
Who would you most like to meet? Peter Kay
Most prized possession? My flat. I love home!
Biggest influence? My mum. As I get older I realise (worryingly) that I’m betting more and more like her. I also recognise how she shaped much of my character when I was young.
Top tips to relax? Get out doors to somewhere naturally scenic. A walk around Arthur’s Seat. A visit to a beach in East Lothian. Getting back to nature brings perspective and peace to a tough life.
Ultimate ambition: To be a content and fulfilled when I die a very old lady.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years? With a family. Hopefully still keeping myself fit. Hopefully with a successful business.
