First international / ‘big time’ call-up: First Senior International was December 2007 but the most important part was being selected to go and live in Denmark to train full time in July 2006
How do you feel when you know you are representing your team / country? Immensely proud and very excited
How and why did you get involved in your sport? I have always been involved in sport and loved to play and it just so happened there was a club at my local sports centre and my friends sister played. So myself with a few others started.
What is your favourite moment in the history of sport? Dame Kelly Holmes face when she finished the finish line, Athens 2004.
Who has been the biggest influence on your sporting career? My present head coach Jesper Holmris
Any family connections to sport? No
Who has been your toughest opponent and why? Maybe Turkey, they play very individual and it’s difficult for us to defend as we need to do a lot on our own where as we are used to helping each other.

What is your most prized possession? I still have my GB tracksuit from the 1995 European Youth Olympics
What is your biggest passion away from sport? Spending time with family and friends
Favourite sport(s) other than your own? Mostly football but I’m trying to watch more variety of sports
Top tips to relax? Playing a game on the iphone ;)
What is your ultimate ambition? Be a part of the 2012 squad and really compete at the Olympics and prove to everyone and ourselves how hard we have worked.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years’ time? Still a part of handball in the background helping it grow in Scotland, would be great if there was enough funding to make it a full time job too ;)
