How do you feel when you know you are representing your team / country? When I am representing my country I feel proud and honoured.
How and why did you get involved in your sport? I got into sport because I was being bullied in school and I found it a great way to release stress.
What is your favourite moment in the history of sport? Chris Hoy winning three gold medals in the cycling in the Beijing Olympics.
Who has been the biggest influence on your sporting career? My Mum, she has been there for me throughout my career and has also been a great support. She has supported me through all my good and bad times.
Any family connections to sport? My parents aren’t particularly into sport, however, my two younger brothers both swim and my sister horse rides.
Who has been your toughest opponent and why? My toughest opponent is a Ukrainan woman who has been my main rival for four years.

Three words that describe you: Determined, confident and modest.
Who would you most like to meet? Terry Wogan is the person that I would most like to meet because I have listened to radio two for years and I find him extremely funny.
What is your most prized possession? My silver medal that I won at the Beijing Paralympics in 2008.
What is your biggest passion away from sport? At the moment sport is my only passion.
Favourite sport(s) other than your own? My favourite sports are cycling and rugby.
Top tips to relax? I like to listen to music and get a hot bath.
What is your ultimate ambition? My ultimate ambition is to win two gold medals at the London Paralympic games.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years’ time? I can’t predict my future but I would like to be still running even if it is just for pleasure.
