How do you feel when you know you are representing your team / country? Proud and excited.
How and why did you get involved in your sport? My parents encouraged me to join different clubs at school, gymnastics, swimming and running. I reached national level at swimming and running and enjoyed the training, enjoyed pushing myself, enjoyed hanging out with like-minded people and the challenge of competition.
What is your favourite moment in the history of sport? When Rocky beats Apollo in Rocky 3.
Who has been the biggest influence on your sporting career? My parents, for their continual support and encouragement and various my coaches, Graham Wardell, Braney Gough, Paul McVeigh and Vlad Gladkov.

What is your biggest passion away from sport? Learning and reading. Spending time with family and friends.
Favourite sport(s) other than your own? Boxing, Brazilian JiuJitsu, swimming, gymnastics, weightlifting.
Top tips to relax? Take time to be lazy sometimes, have quiet time, read, relax, watch a movie.
What is your ultimate ambition? Olympic Games
Where do you see yourself in 10 years’ time? Coaching young athletes in wrestling/strength & conditioning.
