    Education:  Brighton University – Architecture and Design Degree. Glasgow School of Art – Architecture Diploma

    Finest sporting moment? Bronze Medal Commonwealth Games 2006 

    Your tip for the top: Go for it ! 

    First international / ‘big time’ call-up: GB Team 2004 Track Cycling World Cup , Moscow. 

    How do you feel when you know you are representing your team / country? Proud, honoured

    How and why did you get involved in your sport? I hypothetically designed a velodrome (an indoor cycle track) in my final year at Glasgow School of Art.  I had a go on the track as part of investigation into velodromes. I enjoyed it so joined a cycling club! 

    What is your favourite moment in the history of sport? Joan Llaneras winning 2007 Points Race World Championships (track cycling) and the 1992 Barcelona Olympics 1992 Diving competition.

    Who would you most like to meet? Steve Jobs

    What is your most prized possession? Photographs I have taken over the years 

    Who has been the biggest influence on your sporting career?  Dutch Racing 

    Any family connections to sport?  None 

    Who has been your toughest opponent and why?  The weather - at times it made racing and training very hard. 

    What is your biggest passion away from sport? The Outdoors, Design. 

    Favourite sport(s) other than your own?  Mountain Biking, Wii Sports 

    Top tips to relax?  A clear conscience 

    What is your ultimate ambition? I have too many ambitions to list 

    Where do you see yourself in 10 years’ time? Alive and not meandering!
