How do you feel when you know you are representing your team / country? Overwhelming sense of pride and honour mixed with a sense of duty to run well.
How and why did you get involved in your sport? Primary school sports day, I joined my local athletics because I wanted to win my final sports day sprint!
What is your favourite moment in the history of sport? When Team GB beat the Americans in the 1991 World Championships, Tokyo and when Michel Johnson broke the world 400m record.
Who has been the biggest influence on your sporting career? My coach Piotr Haczek, he has helped me to see my potential and as an Olympian as well as World and European medallist he is a great role model.
Any family connections to sport? All my family are really sporty
Who has been your toughest opponent and why? On the track every opponent is a tough opponent

What is your biggest passion away from sport? Languages – I love learning and speaking foreign languages
