     How do you feel when you know you are representing your team / country? Very, very honoured and lucky

     How and why did you get involved in your sport? My life was always about sport as a kid until cycling as it does took over everything. I just stuck at it and got better year after year.

     What is your favourite moment in the history of sport? 1989 tour de France ….Lemod wins by 8 seconds.....ouch!                                                                  

     Who has been the biggest influence on your sporting career? My Parents as they always helped and supported me no matter what.

     Any family connections to sport? My Grandfather was a cyclist in his day

     Who has been your toughest opponent and why? Mark Cavendish....well he’s Mark Cavendish

     Who would you most like to meet? Bruce Lee or Mohammed Ali

     What is your most prized possession? My iPhone it got my whole life on it.

     What is your biggest passion away from sport? My family

     Favourite sport(s) other than your own? Moto Grand Prix

     Top tips to relax? Music in a dark room

     What is your ultimate ambition? Commonwealth Gold

     Where do you see yourself in 10 years’ time? Coaching and helping bring on the next generation of Scottish cyclists.
