First international / ‘big time’ call-up: INVITED TO BE PART OF THE NORTH INTERNATIONAL YOUNG BLOOD SELECTION IN EGYPT IN 2007 TO REPRESENT THE UK.1 OF 20 RIDERS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD WERE INVITED TO A SPECIAL TRAINING CAMP.

How do you feel when you know you are representing your team / country? MOTIVATED TO PREFORM FOR THE REST OF THE TEAM. PROUD TO REPRESENT THE COUNTRY.

How and why did you get involved in your sport? I GOT INVOLVED IN THE SPORT OF WINDSURFING FROM THE AGE OF EIGHT AND I WAS INTERESTED IN TRYING THE NEW SPORT OF KITESURFING WHICH LOOKED MORE EXCITING AND SPECTACULAR TO WATCH THAN THE WINDSURFING.WHEN I WANTED TO LEARN I WAS TO YOUNG AS THE AGE LIMIT WAS EIGHTEEN SO I HAD TO PERSUADE FRIENDS TO TEACH ME THE BASICS, AND I GOT INTO POWERKITING ON THE LAND.AFTER THAT I HAD LEARNT WHAT I NEED TO TAKE THE SAME TECHNIQUES INTO THE WATER.

What is your favourite moment in the history of sport? IN 2001 THE CROAT WILD CARD GORAN IVANISEVIC BEAT EVERYONE IN THE COMPETITION INCLUDING ANDY RODDICK, TIM HENMAN AND PAT RAFTER TO WIN WIMBELDON. A TRUE UNDER DOG STORY.                                                                          

Who has been the biggest influence on your sporting career?   Aaron Hadlow

Any family connections to sport?  My grandfather competed at Badminton horse trails. No other sporting connection.

Who has been your toughest opponent and why? Kari Sheibvagg the Norweigen Worl Champion She is very methodical in competition and always performs well under pressure.

What is your most prized possession? A WATCH WHICH BELONGED TO MY LATE BROTHER.

What is your biggest passion away from sport? Design,Photography and Art

Favourite sport(s) other than your own?   Stand up paddle boarding (Supping) Snowboarding, Swimming ,Golf

Top tips to relax? Savasna - Yoga meditation is a great way to relax.

What is your ultimate ambition?  To be involved with presenting and broadcasting.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years’ time? Still living near the sea. Hopefully having other people running my business for me and two new replacement knees.
