How do you feel when you know you are representing your team / country?
Very proud

How and why did you get involved in your sport?
In 2000 I had surgery on my knee and started swimming and biking. I did my first triathlon 3 months after the operation and I was hooked!

Beijing 2008 – Michael Phelps getting 8 golds; Chris Hoy winning 4

Biggest passion away from sport?
I’m so sad that most of my other passions revolve around physical activity – mountain biking, walking... I like cooking (because I like eating) and I am trying to grow veg this year!

Still racing, trying to pretend that I am not 41 years old!
